From Couch to 5K - Low-stress, goal-orientated app to get you up and moving (jogging and walking) over a nine-week period. $2.99

Hrate: Determine target resting to maximum heart rate zones for training and exercise purposes. $0.99
iBody: Fitness and health manager for new and experienced athletes. Documents blood pressure, cholesterol, weight, body fat index or the number of calories burned as well as track how far you run or bike during a workout via GPS. $4.99

iMapMy: Uses iPhone's GPS function to map cyclists' workouts, while providing data on duration, distance, pace, speed, and elevation. $4.99
iPump Abs & Core ($1.99), iPump Pilates ($1.99), iPump Stretch ($1.99), iPump Yoga ($1.99) A series of illustrated fitness apps with clear instructions on how to perform various types of exercises.
iTreadmill: Turns your iPhone into a pedometer for walking and running. Unlike many other such apps, this one does not use GPS. $0.99
Pocket Yoga: Duplicates the experience of a yoga class. Great for travelers and for those times you cannot make it to the yoga studio. $2.99 regular, $3.99 HD version
Swim Log: Great way to keep track of your water workouts, including times and laps. $4.99
NikeWomen Training Club: Get started on Nikeowmencom and theyn use this app to use your personalized training program. Free
RunKeeper: Uses iPhone's GPS function to automatically track and map your runs. The data is then synced to the RunKeeper website and, if you want, shared on Facebook. Free. Pro version is $9.99
